Hi Guys, long time no see !
My old TB mare (25) has recently had what appeared to be a small sore on the bottom of her heel where it joins the frog.
Anyway over the course of a week this seems to have grown to the size of a grape. There is no hair on it its fleshy and not that sore touch. There also seems to be some swelling under the skin on the back of her heel as though the growth is actually in there and its burst out from the heel.
Anyway anyone had any experience of this before ?
She is nt lame and it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable at all and she is unshod and retired to grass ?
