Grrh postman!

Working from home my fuel bills are going through the roof so I am turning the heating off during the day closing all the doors and just having a heater in my workroom plus an extra jumper.

I come in today to dicover that Postman Pratt has pushed a magazine (unwanted hurumph) through my letter box but only half way so all the warm air locked in by closed doors has 'left the building'!

Grrrr. Shoot the idiot.

We don't have any radiators at home because of this ongoing building crap, so we're in extra thick jimjams, jumpers, sleeping bags and duvets. There are gaps round the windows where plaster was not finished, some rooms don't have doors. It's soooooooooooooo cold. I really would shoot the postman.

i am constantly asking who has the heating on yet, and no-one has, everyone i know is donning the fleece, hat and gloves and sitting round a candle!!

We have a postbox attached to the outside of the house that you need a key to open and no letterbox in the front door. No chance of any draughts!!!
