Soooo i managed to take my boots back to the shop where i purchased them from today.

I explained that i had been advised to take them back to place of purchase for them to be returned to Dublin. I will admit i was expecting to have to argue my case a little to pursuade the shop to send them back, i did buy them back in April & tbh i was perhaps just expecting a repair at most.

I did the same thing with my toggi boots, they will send them back to toggi and will get reimbursed from the company.
Which boots have you got are they the new style or the older style.

Today i also took a pair of Ariat grassmere's back as they too were leaking, the best we got was they are going back to Ariat possible to be rebonded, so will just walk around with tesco bags on my feet,

what do you think of the boots generally? debating getting them for xmas. are they fully waterproof and comfy as want them for walking dogs as well as yard boots so cant rub

I went thru 3 pairs of dublin river boots in a space of 6months, each time the insides would rip and many a time landed on my backside while trying to untaggle foot from lining, plus always leaking, its such a shame as they were really comfortable but would never get another pair as dont think they live up to what they are marketed for. Would love a pair of dubarrys, hoping santa will bring me some....lol

I find mine incredibly comfortable, not had any problems with the lining coming away but they are most definitely not waterproof and TBH they never have been. If you are looking for a properly waterproof boot then look elsewhere
