grrr some days i do wonder why i have my horse

well for the past 3 days my mare has been out, her field is sectioned of with electric tape but evry morning when i go to check her she has escaped into the other bit on the side , i have rearanged the electric fencing twice to try to contain her and yesterday i thought i had cracked it however i went to see her this morning saw her run to the gate and thought yes shes in then as i got closer i saw she had completely destroyed my fencing snapped 2 posts and ripped the wire out of my energiser.

she has always been known to be a bit of a madam when it comes to escaping and was spotted comando crawling under electric fencing howver trashing it is a new one.

really random but just really annoyed with her because i hate sorting fencing out when its wet and horrible

I've heard you can run electric fences off a lorry battery (bigger than a car battery) and it gives them a bigger shock, meaning (hopefully) that they won't touch it again!

Maybe completely wrong but might be worth a try??

Is she rugged up?

One of mine did this all the time, and I had to pick a day when it was not going to rain, and leave him with his rug off so he got a proper shock.

mine pulls the posts out of the ground - its infuriating!!

Mine also used to pull the posts out, so I changed from plastic to metal posts and that stopped that trick!
