Grrr, some people are unbelievable!!! Two incidents of irresponsibilty in one day!!

In the first instance you were agreeing with the the sentiments that "OP was Attacked" and saying responses were uncalled for! This is peole expressing their opinion -
you may not like it but hey that's what an open forum is about. I presume you refer to my comment concerning "nutcases" on H&H which was clearly in the context of all H&H forum members and was even reclarified for your benefit - not JUST you! No one is being personal except in your mind. I did not jump anywhere FYI . I believe there are no restrictions on responding to any thread on H&H. By saying "you have jumped onto this thread merely because you disagree with me" once again shows your persecution complex. Please get over this or otherwise you will continue to presume that posters are being "so personal"

I'm not going to continue a conversation with you, but would just like to say that it's quite ironic that you reacted so badly to my thread about the hunting and accused me of trolling and stirring trouble. Yet you say here that everyone is entitled to post what they wish on an open forum. Hypocritical to say the least. I have no problems with people posting what they like, but it is infuriating to say the least when people respond continuously by misquoting the OP. They could at least take the time to read the OP properly first. Having said that Dosymare has apologized and that apology is taken. And just to also add that you did comment that you were referring to 'one' person being a nutcase on the hunting thread. So no, you were not talking in general. Anyway to be quite honest I can't be ar*ed with your posts anymore!!!

In the past 10 years the road outside our yard has become increasingly busy and traffic uses it as a rat run. There are some drivers that are very polite and will slow down and give plenty of room. However, unfortunately there are those who couldn't seem to care less if you end up on their bonnet and no matter what hand signals you give they could not care less. We ride sensibly and try to be courteous to drivers, but who really can say for sure their horse will never spook. There is a bend on this road which we are unable to avoid in order to access all the bridleways. Unfortunately the majority of us are unable to access the fields and bridleways without using roads to get to them. I wish we all lived in an ideal world where this wasn't the case however its not reality. I am sorry for your experience today OP and its a shame that some horse riders tend to attack each other rather than stick together on subjects like this.

Blimey if this is not continuing then I'm my own nephew! There was NO accusation of trolling btw - you are exhibiting persecution complex again imo. But yes you were attempting to stir trouble imo

Yes everyone is entitled to post what they choose but just as my right to swing my fist ends at your nose, then your entitlement to denigrate other Forum members will be brought up for what it is and I certainly do not agree with your behaviour. BTW I have not in my experience even once misquoted you - though I can think of several incidences here where you have misquoted my posts for your benefit. I said and I quote

No I am reasonably sure that H&H gets all types of nutcases tbh...
The 'one nutcase" referred to was in my humour - me btw. So I was NOT talking about you. (Persecution Complax again I believe)

By the way I do congratulate you on your most eloquent farewell in response I will simply say Goodnight.

Lol, it certainly has hasn't it?!! I only posted out of sheer anger that day at what had happened just to vent!!! Didn't expect all this! Anyway, majority of posters will be pleased to hear that I took my mare out (yes, on the blind bend, past the spooky gateway!!) the very next day and we didn't encounter any road rage thankfully!! Unfortunately my OH and I haven't won the lottery today so we won't be able to find somewhere with country parks/bridlepaths or open fields to hack out in as yet! :D

For what it is worth moomin1, I agree totally with you :)

After all the high way code states that you must drive clear and slowly past horses ( or something like that) and they were on the roads first , cars share the roads with horses, not the other way around :)

Good for you, getting back out there and cracking on is the best thing to do. If we let every bad tempered motorist keep us off the roads, not only would we never get in a car but our horses would spend their lives riding 20 metre circles in packed menages.
' Course, you might encounter menage rage by riders with PMT.
