I have been booked in for 2 months to take Bean to a saddle fitting roadshow today to get her saddles checked and had pre paid for it. Set off this morning. Get 5 miles from home and the car/trailer kind of "jumps". I thought it was the tyre blowing or something. Got out and checked and the tyres were ok so assumed I hit a rock in the road or hedge. Get back in and everything seems ok. Get a couple of miles further down the road and a random warning light comes on and the car starts jumping! At this point I'm a mile or so away from the farm stores where I know it will be safe for me and Bean to stop and there will be help there so put the hazards on and crawl to the store. Get there ok and park it up. Checked in the mannual and the light is apparently engine system failure? Says not to go over 40 miles per hour, to go up steep hills or tow a heavy load! So on that note I know I can't try to drive home. Phoned my instructor who came to fetch us in her lorry! So proud of Bean, she went straight on to the lorry and travelled fine. So car and trailer are abondoned at the farm store. Trying to find someone to tow the trailer home for me now *laughs out loud*. Grrrrrrrrr
