Well fred was vetted yesterday - which went well a few small things were noted by the vet (a small splint, windgall and a slightly capped hock) but for a hunter they're not unusual and were certanly there when people came to view.

Vet left at 3pm - and i have not heard anything from purchasers!! i tried phoning and it was his wife (un-horsey)

I have another girl coming to do a second view tonight she likes him a lot wants to get him vetted - what do i do??

I explined to tonights girls that i would phone her as soon as i hear from other people if i still have him to sell, but i didn't think i would hear nothing!!!

very confused what would you all do???

So my horse passed the vet but they haven't phoned to say whether they want him and how much they'll offer ??? Help please !!

how odd, do you think they still had other things to sort out eg livery arrangements? maybe they are still looking into whether they can get a space.....

it would have been a lot easier for them to ring you and let you know whats going on either way.

i would leave a message with the wife to say you waited to hear yesterday and as there has been no contact you have someone on 2nd veiwing this evening. you can't be fairer than that and its unreasonable for them to expect you to delay and perhaps risk losing the sale.

hope they get back to you soon

Allow the second girl to view and if the first woman pulls out ask her for a copy of the vetting certificate for wasting your time - it might speed things up with the second girl.

Good luck!
