Grrrrrrr !! Had this happen to you

Spent all yesterday cleaning tack, bathing and plaiting pony, and getting everything ready for show today to only get in the lorry this morning and it wouldn't go into gear!! (we did know it has a clutch problem) but all the same, when you've got up at stupid o'clock and been faced with a grumpy faced pony who would rather be out with his mate, and two p****d off daughters who moan cus they can't go to the show its not funny! ,pony was v confused having all his travel gear put on and took straight off again,oh well got lots of ironing to do anyway!!!,think of all the money I've saved!!

Yes this has happened to me a big county show up at 5am got horse ready my friend turned up in the lorry we loaded the horses and the lorry wouldn't start.
We did get it started with help from a friends boyfriend got to the show only to find my class had just gone in. My mom helped me to get ready and my friend got my horse ready and lucky for me the judge allowed me in and we came third. So happy out come
 
Happened to my friend on saturday! entered BE ODE so already cost a fortune!
She spent all day friday getting ready we walked the course friday night and she set off at 6am!! very enthusiastic!
At 6.47am I had a call on my phone .......but didn't hear it so I rang her at 7.30am she had gone back to bed!!! I tried to get her to ring to get her times later but her mood was negative!!!!!

we had that happen today, although fixed the lorry got there friend did the xc course and then it broke down on the way home again, 10 mph all along the dual carridge way, we where less then popular! at least we made it home though, had visisions of getting 2 very unhappy horses out on the side of the road!
