Today has literally been the best day ever :) rode my horse up to the show ground fr tomorrow's show , bathed her and fated around all day that's all........

so why's this so special you ask???? Well tomorrow is Breezes 4th birthday , and tomorrow is our first ever show together and breezes first ever show. I am only doing best grass kept in hand but am so excited. I generally detest showing as I'm impatient and rubbish at preparing horses for shows ..... So this morning. Did a test run out to the show ground cue first hack alone for over a month and she was awesome its 2.4 miles to the show ground , we had to pass a theme park on the way and she just stood and took in the rides and screaming people . Rode home like a pro, had our first really good gallop and then came home dripping with sweat .

Now she had the second bath of her life , danced around a bit but got her slightly clean , chalked her up used the supreme stuff and made it not a paste , plonked her in the stable and got lunch got back two hors later and she was dry and white ....... Whiter than white :) she normally has the same colour legs as the fingers of a. Fifty a day smoker .... Yellow

this evening has been spent generally being an idiot with queenbee on here, taking photos of her and Ben and I very kindly plaited him up for her ;) whilst she slapped my legs hahahahaha what a way to repay me for my rubbbbbbish jokes .


now hme to bath my self, clean my tack and see my children who have been at Thomas world all day with my family :)

now some proof she was clean as she is n her stable naked tonight after washing her fleece and bandages and them coming out even whose than they went in.....please excuse her scissored hogged mane, will be doing it with clippers before next weekends show ;)
After ride today and please bare in mind that yesterday and the day before she was brushed all over so wasn't muddy as normal ....

Thanks , all these comments have made me go to bed smiling. We aren't out towin tomorrow, we are going for the experience , ill come away knowing my girl is the best IMO and I've had her since she was 15 months old and only ever got her track, we have started jumping smallllll mums and love it :) thisis my horse of a lifetime :)
 
She's lovely. I didn't realise she was coloured until the "after" pictures. ☺

Well........ We didnt enter the grass kept , we realised they had a clear round and thought we should pop down and do that as she's never jumped a full course before , got a clear round and a rosette, the clear round course stayed the same for the minor jumps so we did that class 11 or 12 in the class we jumped clear and got into the jump off and got 4th which considering we trotted the entire course barring the last jump was good. Haven't rushed this ma and the jumps were small enough that we didnt need to jump them really , when she went back not the ring for her rosette she cantered t the top, I decided against a lap of honour as she was excited by then and turned and gracefully walked out of the ring ;) QB will be on later with her report but wanted to say her and Ben were ace today and breeze napped a bit going down the field t the ring and without QB I wouldn't have entered :) home, horse is out naked getting filthy and I'm ready to drop :)
 
Just had a nap and woke up thinking crickey I'm tired looked at the end of my bed and two rosettes looked back at me, no photos of the day I'm afraid but will get one of the professional ones my mate took ;)

Oh lulu!!!! Thank you! It was a fabtastic day, both our horses went so very well and balanced each other out throughout the day. I'm absolutely not patronising when I say after our chats today i am so incredibly proud of you lady!!!!! Xxx yes guys, there will be a beastie Ben update later, but tomorrow when I have the pics xx right now I'm so tired I can't keep typing as I have to reserve strength to lift my glass of wine to my lips!
 
She has learnt that rosettes on your face are very pretty and mummy will give you polos ;) a lady i Know took the p out of me whilst in the ring doing the unaffliated after each jump i oat her and say gooooooood girl good girl, then in the jump off the horse that trots everything zoomed over the last two and I came out the ring nearly crying with happiness. So she got lots of good girls good girl ;) and the lady said ..... By any chance s she a good girl ??? Wh say that, obviously she knows me , knows the horse and knows that today was our first time ver an entire course . Yes IMO she was a bloody god girl, and then to be called back in for a rosette has made my entire riding career tbh , I've never ever believed in myself and this horse has proved me wrong and helped me prove to the world we can do it , yes they were 15inches high but we did it and if I want to say goooooood gir 1 million times I bloody well will! Rant over ;)

Glad she was so good! She is simply gorgeous! The first picture makes me very glad I have darker coated ones:D I love her colouring, good luck for tomorrow!:)

Thanks , we did the show today , reports on this thread a page back :) she's gorgeous and had a few remarks today about her unusual colouring :)

Ha ha! Neither did most of the folks on our yard ;). Lurcherlu, had to laugh, when she had been going on ever since she moved there that she planned to do the coloureds class, and everyone on the yard kept nodding and saying that'll be nice, then when she bathed her yesterday they all said that they didn't realise she was coloured! :D
