Any recommendations for high cut long leather boots welcomed.....again!!

No, im just fussy! I like the high cut italian leather boots. Ordered a pair of Regalis, to be told they have a new distributer and the stock is being delayed, now ordered broginis (which I actually prefer), and had the above happen! Grr! On a limited budget (upto about £250) and do have widish calves, but nothing "abnormal!" am on all sizing charts....

I tried on all the brogini, sarm hippique, regali ricchi etc. and I ended up buying some Sergio Grasso ones. The leather is amazing and they are like wearing socks!!! Very, very pleased with them and I think they cost £275 so nicer and cheaper than Sarm Hippique. You have to look through though because they do lots of different styles, can't remember which number mine were but they are higher cut than the sarm hippique ones and have a thinner ankle too. They come with a back zip that goes down to the floor so they are easier to get on and you can have them with or without laces.

I will just add, that they are nicer in the flesh than they look in the catalogue, I wasn't sure when I saw them in the pics as I had my heart set on sarm hippique's, but I got to try on somebody else at the shop and didn't want to take them off!!! They can make them in any size too as I had trouble getting bots to fit as I am very short!! I think they took about 4 weeks to come and they were made to measure, if you have an off the hook size I think they come within the week.

I have Rectaligne and I am really pleased with them although they do take some breaking in and cost me £245 as had to have them made to fit my calves but they have laces and look really smart. I actually ended up getting them from Ingatestone Tack shop. Not sure if that is any help. Good luck!
