Grumpy 2 year old

I have a 2 year old filly that I bred myself. She has always been a lovely nice natured horse who loves cuddles and attention. Recently she has started being really grumpy and has tried to nip me a few times and pulls faces in the stable. She is still fine to handle just a bit grumpy. Any ideas or experience with this sort if behaviour? Open to supplement suggestions too thanks

What about teething? My youngster has a really go happy type of personality. He went grumpy, and I mistook it for him growing up as a grumpy gelding. Turned out, each time, it was his teeth! As soon as the baby teeth came out, and the adult teeth through, he was back to his happy self again! xx

yes, teething and hormones will be starting to kick in .. . . .
