Anyone else's ponio a Grumpy Git at the moment? Bob seems to be in a right nark and it's getting on my nerves.

Put 3 out this morning and I swear they had concocted a plan to really naff me off!

He wasn't impressed with the rain yesterday, he had a right face on him when I went to get him in.

He actually huffed at me and walked to the back of his stable while I was trying to change his rug last night. Silly me thought he'd like a nice dry one to sleep in instead of the soaking wet one.

Mr M is always grumpy, if he wasnt I'd think there was something wrong with him

Actually he's only a grotbag when he gets his jelous head on around other horses, other than that he's just a big softy wofty

Mines a grumpy Victor Meldrew type anyway but is worse in the winter. For him its rugging that sends him in to the winter blues

Yup. Have been combating it with extra turnout (yard is restricted so he’s now getting three days off a week so he can be out 24/7 those days)

Have put him back on pink powder in case it was a tummy issue.

Have cut out the build up mix and gone back onto topspec as it has lower levels of cereal and he’s a better weight now anyway.

Have bought him a sheepskin girth sleeve and a sheepskin half pad.

That seems to have resolved the grumpyness!!

This is our first winter though so I have no idea if it’s just a season thing but I thought I better cover all eventualities!
