I have been trying to network and chat to as many people as possible with GSDs and facebook (being facebook) is a great place to start.

Just a little thing, but I have noticed GSD people are really very friendly and really happy to chat and be friends with fellow enthusiasts! I have so much to learn, but because these people give their time and friendship I hope I will be a good owner one day!

I'm often just spotting pictures of beautiful GSDs and messaging their owners and before I know it I'm making friends and most importantly - learning :D

Just a big shout out and to those researching breeds etc don't be afriad to put yourself out there - people are very kind!

Yeah and Spangle owners are strange!!
Anyways-we spangle owners usually have enough voices to talk to without looking for more!! :)
LOL-I have never met an unfriendly GSD owner or a Rotty owner to be fair.
Nasty owners tend to be complete shocks!
 
Agreed we are all a bit mental and obsessive about our breeds! :p

BUT

who wouldn't be happy and friendly when we have the priviledge of sharing our homes with one of the most beautiful, loyal and proud dogs in the world? :)

People with animals tend to be more gounded than those without, well in my experience!

We used to have GSD's, we lost our last one, Buster, about 9 years ago now, lovely dogs, we also had Monte, our BMD x Border Collie at the same time. Now dogless and very sad, but looking to get a pup in the autumn. :)

I found facebook have groups f these dog breeds too which is often a good way to get information or advice, and also looking at all the pictures, especially puppy ones!
