Any Ideas??

This is Jester, he is 15.1 aged 17 years. Only known history is that he came from Ireland where he had hunted. He arrived in this country 11 years ago and was bought from a dealer. He's been on the same yard ever since.

I just wondered what you all thought he could be.

He is usually hogged but it grows back so blooming quick

The clue is - he came from Ireland and he's 17. I'd say he's an old fashioned Irish cob - a bit lightweight so may be a dash of TB there as well.

Got to be some native pony in there - Fell or Dales x. He looks a lovely sort, what a nice shape to his shoulder and back.

Something native at first glance, but looking at his head facing forwards and his height I think there's some Thoroughbred in there.

He has a look of our cob (also 15'1hh) who has Dartmoor in him.

Thats what I was thinking. We honestly don't know what he is

He's a good shape to be an Irish Draft but he's too hairy

So I was thinking along the lines of an Irish cob with something to lighten him up a bit...maybe TB or Connemara.

What ever he is, he is a smashing alrounder....possibly with the exception of dressage unless you can do it at speed
