Ive just been to the vets to pick up some more meds. I asked when i was there how much I owe!!
This is the breakdown so how much do you think?

3 X Visits in normal daytime hours
2 X Equine exam
1 X Flamazine cream 50gm
32 X Trimediazine sachets
20 X Danilon sachets
1 X Scan leg
4 X xrays using portable x-ray

Cream - not sure about £15
Trimediazine just over £1 a sachet I think, so about £35
Danilon about 35p sachet, so about £7
Scan - no idea, about £40??
X rays - again no idea, guessing about £50 each??

Around £522??? Probably way out - but not up to date with xray/scan costs!

It was £438.31!!

which i dont think is bad at all... AND they gave me 10% discount for paying before bill was due so a discount of £43.38
so total paid £394.93 not bad eh??

I was suprised too! when the vet mentioned x-ray scan etc i did think

but its def not what i imagined it would be!!

I worked it as visits 3 x £40 = £120
2 x £20 exam - £40
Cream - £10
Antib - £100
Danilon - £7
Scan - £60
X rays 4 x £25 = £100

Total £437

What she said! I can guarantee that if that were in Surrey it would be MUCH closer to my guess and they don't believe in early payer discounts round here!

On the 3rd visit they scanned and x-rayed.... didnt charge for another exam though

thats not as bad as i would've guessed i came up with £850 based on my vets my vet bill never fails to shock me
