Guess what i found today!?!?

I've just been poo picking my horses fields. And right in the middle of one of the fields I found............ a potato

. The field is not near a potato field, and my horses couldn't tell me how it got there

! So any ideas how 1 potato managed to end up in my horses field???????? I'm thinking either leftovers of an alien invasion, or my horses are not telling me something. What do you guys recon?????

Ha ha - very bizarre!!! I found a flip-flop in our field this summer. No one is claiming it at the farm. Most strange.

Did they all mysteriously turn their backs and walk away when you pointed it out to them?

Yes there's a trainer in our field that no-one's claimed!

the farmers are transporting spuds in trailers and may be one rolled into the field and the horse picked it up to eat it and decided they did not like it

Good thought bloominmadpaddy, but the field in question is a 1/4 of a mile away from the nearest road!!!

How about a labrador?! Sounds like the work of my labrador Ruby! She would take a potato out of the veg box, run off and hide it somewhere, normally in the middle of the field! Is the field at home?!

The dogs are kept away from the horses in their own area, so don't have access to the fields, otherwise that would have been a viable guess!

This was my thought! Bird got tired of carrying it and dropped it in the field.

Or maybe the bird had it in for one of your horses, decided to grab a potato and aim at your horses head?!!

Well its better than the pigs trotter I found in mine one day....I am nowhere near an abbatoir so still wondering where it came from to this day?
