my jolly ball for Benson! no idea if he will play with it but its first time Ive never bought 1 gonna put it in with him once hes moved anyone use one? what should i expect?

you should expect eyes on stalks, lots of snorting at the new killer item and then possibly once they've got to know each other and he realises his fetlocks aren't gonna get chewed, they should have a long and meaningful relationship!!! LOL!

A few weeks ago during the high winds, a big blue spacehopper blew into my horses field from the neighbours garden next door, as I approached the field I could see him playing with something, he had the handles in his teeth waving it at me!! Wish I had had a camera, he loved it. So took it back and brought him a jolly ball and he lovessss it

ETA: he's scared of his lickit though lol

Benson's terrified of the likit boredom breaker one that hangs from roof! he shivers in back corner of stable till i took it down and hes 16.3hh and scared of a likit on string basically lol

FB has one of those decahedron treat ball things. He has it sussed now and boots it all over the place but I gave it to Ari in the field the other day with carrot lumps in and he was hilarious! The way he tried to get his top lip through the hole made me howl with laughter. He got annoyed and left it in the end. Of course, FB snuck up and started rolling about to get the bits out....

Hope Benson enjoys it - any luck moving yards?

Should start a new thread on what does and doesn't scare your horses, my mare will jump and spin at stupid things like different coloured grass, sound of wind coming through a hedge but she will not jump when a pheasant or rabbit comes racing out of the hedge, or a bin liner is caught in the tree flapping away!! Don't think that I will ever understand her.

I bought one the other day for my chunky monkey because he had reached right round the front of his door, neck must have extended to giraffe length, and bit the front off his light switch

. We moved the switch and so he proceeded to lean round and take the front off the window frame

The other day left his brushing boots on after riding for 10 min whilst i was in the tack room he had taken it upon himself to personally remove BOTH boots and deposit them over his door for me to pick up

Recognising the fact that he needs a dummy to keep his every moving mouth occupied we bought him a ball, as yet though he hasn't done much with it, lovely girl in feed store said to put some honey on it to get him interested but it would be sticky and get shavings all over it, yuk!!
Still when he's run out of window frame he might start playing with it
