Guess what sneaked into my car on the way out of the sales!

Oh - Donovan looks gorgeous :D

Glad RnM managed to upload the pic for you - Bloomin' H&H kept kicking me off!!

Looking forward to lots of pictorial progress reports :D

Yes, thank you RnM for putting pic on. I have my computer literate husband here with me toommorrow, so maybe he can sort out where I am going wrong with the pics!

he was a flat pack!!!!

Not really, I have a fantastic friend who was taking his lorry, and he saved a spot for me if I bought one!

Not sure he would fit in the letterbox!
Our original plans were to do some carriage driving with him, and maybe some in hand showing.
But at the moment I am quite happy just looking at him!

The last pony sale I went to - I came away with a Jack Russell puppy (and I hate terriers......!!) But he looked at me and my youngest son, gave us the take me home sign - and almost a year on, he is very much part of the family and one of the best dogs we have ever had........Previous sales has seen me come home with a bicycle and a pony who cost less than the former, as well as a load of ducks! Once we came home from Hay sales with 6 welsh ponies on a cattle trailer - they all went to superb homes in the West Country......How can anyone go to a sale and come home empty handed.....????

Hes gorgeous. Its lovely and exciting to have a new one. I love the getting to know each other stage.

Have a great time with him.

Have just got back from seeing to him. He met me with a little whinney, and a big cuddle. He had obviously laid down in his stable as the straw was quite flat.
I walked him out to his field, took his head collar off, and he kinda looked at me as though to say, 'is it ok to go?' and off he went, kicking, bucking, farting, snorting, carrering around the field, and then he spotted his neighbour.
Now, Donovan is only 12.3hh, and Casino is 17.3hh. So it was very much little and large.
When we left they were trying to groom each other, but Donovan couldnt reach!!!

Awwww he looks lovely. Well done Benson21 on getting him. I hope you have loads and loads of fun with him after all you've been through you deserve it. :)
It sounds like he's settled in already and made himself at home. :D

Went to get him in from the field tonight, he was out with a little mare and they were getting to know each other. As soon as he saw me, he came cantering over and just rested his head in my hand. He was absolutely plastered in mud, so gave him a good brush and tucked him up in bed with some tea.
This is all too good to be true!! Good things like this just dont happen to me!

P>S I will stop gushing over this little man soon, just bear with me!!!
