Haha! I did too up untill end of summer 2000!

He knew who he was (super star of the yard) He had his moments but I got on with him. It was a case of he chose who his groom was! I worked with him before he went to BT.
I wouldn'tmind putting a mare to him, also there was a 3yr old there Friday at the time by him & he was really sweet.

Do you think his offspring make good leisure horses, or do you think they are more suited to be comeptition horses?

I wouldn't like to say, I have only had dealings with Luidam & his offspring when he was still with John. I would probably say it depends on what the mare was that went to him? Though effectively it should not really matter it is all to do with how they are brought up but a sharp mare put to Luidam could end up with a sharp offspring!!

My mare is rather sharp, but Herbie is the most chilled youngster and very trainable as well as being the kind of horse you can ride every day or leave for a week then just get on with no problems, so it goes to show!
