Well today was Pony's first day working after a month off. As she's been stuffy in the school before I didn't want her first ride to be 'boring' so wanted to go for a 20 min plod hack.
She's had hardly any turnout for a month and I know no turnout = tries to eat when ridden. To the extent she tries to ditch me in order to eat (we're working on those manners!)
So for our 20 minute plod hack we had: body protector, running martingale (bought on the off chance I might take her hunting) and a grass rein!
In fact she was pretty good and I was really pleased with her ( did try to eat twice and ditched me once but I was being a crap rider after a month off).
