Just thought i'd share with you.

I've bought a couple of these dummies and WOW i can't fault them!

Unlike the 'old skool' dummies, these aren't horribly heavy and hard, they bounce and encourage the dog to 'follow scent' unlike the other which thud to the ground and stay there.

They are also a lot easier to throw and are fantastic in water. When i bought mine at the Game Fair, the Trainer on the stand strongly advised buying a purple one. It's a pronounced colour for dogs sight.

I have to say i've chucked all my old ones now and only use these. All of my dogs absolutely love them and i have seen a huge improvement in Kensa's 'natural hunting' because of the bounce they have. Even Ellie, who has never been interested in Dummies, ever, will pick these!

Anyway, here is the link. They are the first set at the top of the page 'Award Winning'

Can't recommend them enough :D

I'd be surprised if he wasn't interested M! Like i said, Ellie loves them and she's never picked a dummy in her life!

My friend has the 'easy-mark' ones but says her dog prefers the purple one.

Only thing i will say, they have a very strong 'manufactured' smell when you first get them, unlike the 'old skool' ones. My friend wrapped hers in a worn t-shirt for 48 hours before using just to give it her smell ready for a retrieve. I'm afraid to say i'm a bit old fashioned and i spit on mine for scent!! :o:o Terrible i know but that's just what i was taught lol

Hmmm, what's the betting my dog is the only one with sod all interest in them

I saw them in Shooting Times a while ago actually and meant to look them up but never did, so thanks for reminding me! Need to get another rabbit skin too, as Otto skinned his rabbit dummy while I was in the shower one day  Bloody dog!
