My mum was looking on net the other day and came across a perfect equine property for me and OH!
Little 2/3 bed bungalow, with 2 stables and tack room, plenty of parking and space for OH's van/business tools and still room for grazing and even a small menage! Local to us, too!!
Shame we haven't got the £££ as it is sooooo cheap too!! Doesn't need too much decor change either.

Oh well, one day...

Always happens doesn't it!

We found a fantastic property in Scotland, acres of land stables, lovely renovated cottage just 3 weeks after we had promised youngest stepson we would stay in Holland till he finishes school......oh well only 2 years to go!

btw how is it going with Horlicks dare I ask?

Chavhorse - You may ask. Well, long story, but I don't think I will be buying her soon! I told YM I wasn't prepared to pay 4k for her based on her recent health issues. I didn't make an offer, as I wanted to leave it with her. She has never got back to me, and Horlicks is still at the RS.
I think YM was hoping I would jump at the chance, and she'd get quick £££. If she came back to me and was asking for a lot less, then I would consider again.

After speaking to my instructor, I know I made the right choice. I love Horlicks to pieces, and hope maybe one day she will be mine, but if not, there are plenty other horses out there, that would be just as good, and maybe better??

Thanks for asking btw!

Thought as much....what a Ratbag.

Give it 3 months then offer her 3K in cash subject to a vetting....bet she will bite your hand off.

Very sensible - my son and I fell in love with a horse a couple of years ago. At a riding school owned/run by two sisters. One wanted to sell the horse to us as she thought she deserved more than a riding school life. Other sister refused to budge. 2 years down the line, I still think it would have been great to have said horse, but now realise that we will find something else we will love just as much. Just wanted this one as we had been through a rough time with other ponies and she seemed to fit the requirements. Good luck with whatever happens.

Oh, know the feeling. Just spotted my dream home to rent but only 2 bedrooms and I have a boy and girl. Also, my children are at a critical time in their lives, one starting college, one new senior school. Time just isnt right at the moment. I console myself thinking its not meant to be and something will turn up when the time is right.

I know how you feel!! I've been on the lookout for somewhere to buy / rent to accomodate all my nags but trying to find somewhere that suits my work, OH's work etc etc etc.

So many horsey places round us also have such big houses they are way out of our price range.
