I have two Wow saddles as they were fantastic for my old horse, I thought it would be possible to adjust them to fit any new horse I got as they are so adjustable...

I've just had the saddler out and we can find no combination of panels etc. to fit my new horse :( Gutted as I didn't think I would be having to find the money for new saddles. Typical

Two questions really, where is the best place to sell the WoW saddles? Where is the best place to buy second hand saddles? I tried an Albion SLK Ultima and that seemed a good fit, any other suggestions?

I'd find a new WOW fitter! I had a pair of panels custom made to fit one of my horses as none of the regular panels fitted

They generally go for a good price on ebay IF you do lots of photos and a really detailed description.
I was just about to post a WOW saddle item myself when I saw this. I want some GP flaps for my Wow saddle, just the flaps not the whole thing. There haven't been any on ebay since I've been looking, does anyone know where to get hold of second hand flaps or does anyone have any they want to part with?

Thank you, I have contected another fitter to get a second opinion, my new horse isn't a really wierd shape or anything so it seems crazy that they can't fit him.

I sold mine to someone who posted a wanted ad, it is perfectly possible that the WOW may not suit your horse.

I have a KWPN who is not a wiered fit either, i had my WOW for 4 years & in the end gave up it just never fitted properly. I even had the Head guy from WOW come up & try to re-fit it but it just caused problems with my horses back then.
I was glad for it to go in the end as it caused all sorts of problems including me not being able to sit to the trot properly despite the Air being sorted & low it still gave a double bounce effect.

I now have a lovely flocked dressage saddle that fit's like a glove & i can sit to the Trot again easily.

Hmm, my horse is also a warmblood , he is a m/w fit but has a prominent wither and a wide spine/wither. So far none of the panels tried have given him enough clearance on the wither, they put pressure on the side of the wither when he bends.

Get a new fitter - you should be using DD panels to lift the the front whilst still using a wide-ish headplate

Many fitters just pick the headplate to suit the point wither and then wonder why it doesn't fit!

DWG.

One has tabs the other doesn't, both seem to be an issue thought he tabs are better.

Have got another fitter coming out next week so hoping they can come up with something!
