Some of you might have seen my post about my pony who i sold having an accident on the way to new owners (their transport etc) I had to take him back which involved a 3 hour journey but we all arrived unscathed just about apart from a bit stiff. Any way must be having a run of bad luck, after various other little things happening since (not just horse related) pony is now hopping lame! He's never been lame beofre. Its 2 weeks since the accident so i don't think its related to that, gut feeling is it's abcess in the hoof as it's so acute and so sudden with no swelling or heat in the leg, vet out this afternoon so we shall see. Really hope it isn't anything serious for his sake and mine, i still need to sell him due to finances and time and it was bad enough having to sort out the traveling issue he will now have when i don't have my own transport anymore but now this, it so dishartening and the poor little boy is hobbling around, although he did pluck up the courage to canter across the field for his dinner! Plus if he is to stay for a while i need to do somehting with him, even though i have no time to and another horse to break this year, but his saddle doesn't even fit anymore and no money to get new one, especially if i now have vet bills to pay! GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sorry rant over needed to off load to someone who understands the sometime nightmares of owning horses!

Sorry you're having such a hard time right now. Fingers crossed for the vet coming later, hopefully it is just an abscess or something else relatively minor. Fingers crossed things start looking up for you soon :)

Sorry to hear about this, have not seen your previous posts, but if it was newowners transport why are you having to deal with it surely horse was theirs ? Apologies if
all was explained previously,.
