argh had bronte all fit and ready to go been giving her plenty of pipe openers and long steady canter work popping some jumps aswell. bring her in from the field -lame
got the vet up asap no tendon or ligament damage showed in the scan (had to clip off her front feathers
so now she looks silly) just a very lage swelling within the tendon sheath so drained it and injected some steroids.
it looked great this moring almost all swelling gone so i am bandaging her legs and putting like ice on the swollen one (her front left) whilst keeping her in on box rest for 2 weeks then gentle exercise for another two weeks then building up again.
vet didnt see a reason that she couldnt hunt this season once she is fit and sound again so a massive silver lining just bummed that im going to miss the opening meet i was so excited
