gymkhana pony rearing at start line

Hi has anyway got any training tips for my brother in law. His 7 year old welsh sectionC gymkhana pony has been training her and so far she has been faultless until sunday. He took her to burbage show, her first ever show and after winning the first race she started to rear up at the start line for the following races and would not stand for the start. We now cannot stop her doing this in the training field with no other ponies around. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Try to keep her moving before the game starts,circle and walk up to the start line just as they shout go so she cant get too wound up, hope this helps,our pony gets all excited and my daughter found this works
