Gymkhanas / shows?

How do I find out about appropriate shows for my daughter to go to? She is 8 and has been riding her pony for a year and I just want her to have some fun now and take her to a gymkhana etc but really struggling to get any info. Anywhere in the South Wales area. Many thanks x

Are you members of your local Pony Club? They normally have games rallies and organize different shows.

There's a Facebook group "Horses for Sale or Swap in Cardiff" which often has details of shows all over South Wales posted to it. The local riding clubs (Riders 2000, Mynydd, Cricklands, Southerndown all have junior sections, as do Torfaen but not sure if they're on Facebook) also have Facebook groups where a lot gets advertised.

You could also pick up a copy of Welsh Rider at your local feed shop - they have an events diary in there.
