I've heard there is apparently a gypsy cob fair and races on at Mussleburgh this weekend (sunday the 10th). Any one heard about it? I was wanting to go (and possibly accidently come home with a 2yr old.....)

No one horsey I know in that part of the world has heard of it. They are all dedicated native pony people but you'd have thought they'd have heard anyway.

I'd be interested if anyone finds out more, though we have 4 ponies contesting 11 classes in a show on Sunday so it's probably all hands to the pump for that.

Not heard of it but if you are seriously wanting a gypsy cob, I know of two very good colts going for reasonable prices from a good breeder - but they are weanlings rather than two years old.

The yeanlings and yearlings seem to be fairly cheap and pretty easy to come by. I've seen a couple who I like the look of. It's the 2yr old that are harder:( And a lot more expensive.
