Having recently become quite fascinated by this forum, I have realised that I spend just a little too much time reading and chuckling over the endless discussions that go on! I find that I almost feel like I know some of you by the tone and content of your posts. It is almost addictive......but I do worry that I should be doing something else!!!! (I suppose it is a little reward to be sitting in the warm by a computer after spending an hour and a half mucking out and doing the horses). PS Who else has hands like sandpaper?

It is addictive. When it was off line for a few days a month or so ago, i got so much more done

Hands like sandpaper! So glad its not just me!!!!! Owning a horse in Wales also gives you perpetually wet undies, perpetually mud coloured fleeces, a perpetual BO of damp horses, a perpetually dripping nose, perpetually horrendous bills for hot water as you desperately try to warm up again at home and perpetually strained ankles from perpetually sinking in a perpetually man-eating muck heap!

OMG Sunnymum, sounds bloody awful! I was pulling a haynet out of the soaking tub the other day and as it was really heavy I was pulling with all my might and, yes, you've guessed it, the rope snapped and I went flying backwards and landed flat on my back in about 6 inches of mud. Well, I just had to laugh otherwise I would have cried. I always wondered if I was the only person whose laundry seems to be of epic proportions.
