Until I remembered the date.
The video does look very convincing!

If it refers to the report of the Large Animal Rescuers (Grosstierretter) based in Switzerland, it is true. Happened on the 18th of March. I had to look it up, because I knew they do this sort of rescue for horses, cattle and so on.

I saw something like this on an american vet programme years ago! Apparently they have no concept of flight so aren’t scared!

Given today's date @cauda equina , I presume most news things could be an April's fool thing, until proven otherwise.

It was fascinating for awhile to read what kind of cases they seem to handle as an ordinary day at work thing for them, if the German to Swedish translation is correct.
Until I touched something on the screen as I was reading the page, and it suddenly switched to a Do you want to call this number page.

This is their April Fool article. https://www.horseandhound.co.uk/new...rse-experts-know-the-least-study-finds-741326

Lead researcher John Phool, of the British Institute of Psychology, told H&H he had been inspired to look into the subject by his daughter April’s experiences on social media.

ETA - I did find this bit funny.
Fellow researcher and amateur showjumper Mike Nowall told H&H he often found it hard not to get involved in the social media debates he was following.

“When things got really heated, I wanted to throw in comments like ‘turmeric’ or ‘bitless’ but that would have just made things explode,” he said. “I had to resist the temptation, but it was very difficult at times.”

RE the helicopter video - it's amazing, the horse is so calm and they land her so gently. What a skilled pilot. :)
