H-trap horsefly trap - Anyone using?

Hi,

If anyone has bought one of these I would be grateful if you could share your experience. We are inundated with Horseflies at the moment, the horses hate it, and I am having bad reactions to the bites myself.

£180 does seem quite pricey though.

yes! not in the uk but we have had them for ages in Holland. Very common there and works a treat on horse flies! doesn't work for normal flies.
Now I should say in general ( not everywhere) the field in Holland are smaller and one flytrap is good for a field with one or two horses in.
Here in the UK The field are often alot bigger and you may need more then one trap for the bigger fields.
But works very very well without a doubt!

yes ridiculous isn't it. in Holland you get two for that amount of money.
but all in all these things last a long time, add up you fly spray, flyrug etc and I bet you will not be far off.

Just had a look at the website .
Very interesting but one trap per 100m by 100m would make them a serious expense
