so much easier than pushing a wheelbarrow through all this snow !

I've got one, and in normal winters it would be a godsend, but atm I can't get any water from the pipes at the yard, and it's too large to use from my garden tap or kitchen sink so I am using a 25 ltr water container and going to buy a couple more tomorrow

I'm not convinced I have to say, mine is sat gathering dust. It always fell out of the wheelbarrow as i tipped it, even with the non slip mat. I ended up with water everywhere, then I had to manhandle a sausage of water back into the barrow, which proceeded to wreck my already wrecked back! I'm back to dragging my tubs of water across the yard, and carrying 2 half full buckets down to the fields to fill the frozen troughs. Much easier!!!!!

Mine sprung a leak the very first time I used it, flooded my barn which then all promptly froze, so I am not at all happy with it.

It's also a bit tricky to pour the water as it empties because like Chalimouse says it falls out of the wheelbarrow.

We have one and so does another girl at the yard. We find them to be really good. You do have to get the aim into the bucket right but havn't yet had it fall out of the barrow. If we fill it half way it fills an extra large trug.

I think they are great, I really hurt my back carrying heavy water buckets before,
but you need to make sure your wheel barrow is big and stable enough to carry it when full (80kg!) and keep it away from freezing! I just got a hole in it this week because I left it out at night, there was a tiny bit of water in it which froze then when I picked it up, it punched a hole through it, my other half says it is easily fixable though, so I never regret buying it

yeah i wa thinking how i'd fill it when the yard tap is frozen. i only live up the road from the yard so could fill it there. but then if the yard tap is frozen, so will my outside tap. hmmmm, cud wheelbarrow it thru the house and fill it from my shower. then it'd be a job to wheel it back down the road safely on the ice. maybe it wont be as useful as i first thought.
