Riding in the huge indoor school was a little exciting and despite him behaving really good I could feel he was full of energy and dying to let rip (school is big enough to gallop) so when we had it all to ourselves I let him go WAHOO what fun great on the right rein. When we changed reins he went on the wrong leg first time I returned to trot he was ok second time he bucked

a little frustration I think

Then when we went off again he bucked in excitement

Oh it was great to see him coming out of his shell and truly enjoying himself

He was so much more relaxed after his little blast

and worked lovely.

I do wish I could keep my lower leg still tho

I have had so long off it is taking me a long time to get strong and balanced again

You will get there!! Unfortunately I am having more trouble with my ankle now than I did when the cast first came off

I am having to do yard work and riding in a splint. I know from xrays there is still a gap in the tibia and my RA specialist says it is unstable (hence me wearing the splint again) it is also more painful now

I am waiting for an appointment to see the specialist again and must admit I am rather worried about what he will say!!!

Oh lordy!

I hope it's not bad news! I have one piece of good advice - don't google it - I did with my talus issues and wish I hadn't lol! Put alsorts of rubbish in my head **rolls eyes**. Have faith in the specialists and be a good girl and it will be reeeeeet in the end!

I wonder if there s anything you can do in the meanwhile to encourage bone growth?

I have just bought a Back-on-track magnetic ankle support and a Nikken Magnet to help my blood supply and healing... wonder if anything like that will help? Also I take the Seven Seas Advanced Joint Supplement, are you taking anything?

Continue to enjoy Micah, sounds like the beginning of a long partnership, but don't over do it young lady!!!! **wags finger**
