HabdsSuggest us some delicate Shampoo !!

I keep having reactions to my horses shampoos, I have older thinning skin and I myself use my Asda’s children’s all in one after bathing my grandchildren and finding that my hands didn’t itch after !! so any shampoo and soaps and cleaning I’m using on my horses is very irritating for me and I’ve got sores on my hands from it. Can you recommend anything that may be gentile ?
for myself I use Asda baby shampoo and body wash or sanex

Could you use the Asda Baby Shampoo on the horse as well?

I have several times run out of human shampoo, so I used my horses'. It is much nicer on my hair so now I use horse shampoo all the time. I have friends who only use (cheap) human shampoo on their horses. Do a trial of your preferred shampoos on the horses, bet they'll be fine.

ETA -years ago I remember someone telling me that Head and Shoulders shampoo (I think it was) had huge sales in the middle east. It was the shampoo of choice for washing camels ?

The ingredients are nearly identical to one of the equine shampoos I have, except the equid shampoo has about 10 additional ingredients!

I use Johnson's sensitive baby shampoo on my horse. It gives him a lovely shine. He has very sensitive skin.

Yup, mine gets washed in baby shampoo as well.

Try a shampoo like Hedgewitch or Wildhorse as both are made with cocomide sulfate instead of SLS? Horses PH is different to ours so a lot of the mass produced ones are very strong.
