Am I right that the nose on this hackamore is too big on the nose? There's virtually no contact on the reins here and the shanks are virtually parallel with the reins. Is it just a case of tightening the curb chain or do I need a more adjustable one like an English - I have one coming from a bit hire bank? The curb chain feels quite snug already.
I'm also going to try a crossover bitless when it comes. It's only a temporary thing after a dental, although she goes very well in it even like this with minimal contact.
