Hacked out for an hour!

Very very sad I know but I hacked my rescued racehorse out for an hour this evening , no accidents .I am soooo happy . Two weeks ago I really wondered what I had done taking her on as she reared up and over onto YO when he kindly tried to ride her for me ,since then Ihave long reined her loads and ridden her gently in the school but tonight I really took the bull by the horns and went out for a hack with my son , we even had a trot at the end . Just had to share this with you lot as some of you will understand what a big step this is .

Congratulations! I remember your other post about the rearing up. Having an ex-racer myself, I know the elated feeling when you have a succesful happy hack without incident! You must be on cloud nine! Well done!

yay! actually a massive success if you have previously been aprehensive about hacking out due to mishaps. Hopefuly a hack like this can take the edge of the anxiety and it will become a happy chilled out experience.

I had my first hack out in 3 weeks today and bert was really good, little nappy but good, nice change from the Sh*t he has been recently!
