Hacking adventures today

A very adventurous hack today on Mr P today! Went exploring in the woods... and nearly got lost and the ground was quite boggy in places but Puggy soldiered on bless him and got us through! Came out not knowing whereabouts we were, decided to go along the main road a little way and then met a new bridleway which we haven't done before.. decided to explore.. it was lovely even though we met a great big PIG!! :P Then coming back across the fields, Puggy over reached after popping a hunt fence and twisted a shoe so had to take it off and ride him back with three. But our fantastic Farrier met me at the yard and put it back on as soon as we got back! Now that's what I call service! :)

What has everyone else been up to today?
 
well done you, me and pads were very similar to you we also went into the woods and got totally lost again so got back to to the yard and had 5mins to give hay get water do pads brekkie get yelled at by YO, hose off fly rug him and put stuff away, Sadly did not make it all In 5 mins by which point hubby was yelling at me down the phone to come and mind rugrats got in the car and the battery was dead!!!!!
so eventually got a jump from another livery and made it home
glad that I did go out thou and only got eaten alive just by the yard which was a bonus.
How are flies by you?
 
Sounds like fun! The flies aren't too bad - they are bad in certain places which I just avoid going to. There was a lot of annoying flies hovering around my boy's face today but hardly any horseflies thank goodness. As I don't use fly spray but have just started using a bit of fly gel around his eyes, it was interesting that most of the flies seemed to be attracted to his face where the gel was! More proof that fly repellent products are a load of rubbish!
