I'm not very well versed in technology, but having come back to riding recently I was wondering whether there were any new tools that actually had value, and weren't around ~20 years ago.
I'm familiar with Air-jackets, but an area I'm particularly interested in is applications (something that didn't exist last time I was properly riding!). I already use Endomondo to track my rides. I've been looking into applications for my mobile (iPhone 6) that track falls etc. A particularly popular one seems to be "Horse Rider SOS", but I'm put-off by the recurring costs. An alternative seems to be "Humpty Dumpty" (endearing name!) which claims not to feature any recurring costs - the app's about 1/4 of the price of the former, as well. However, it's only been out a week and I was wondering whether anyone had tried it out.
