I have heard a few people say that there is some lovely off road hacking around kenilworth castle but I can't find a map which shows bridleways around there.
Does someone have a link to a map showing bridleways?
I would be very grateful :)

Ordanance Survey will be the ticket you need!

I can give you some vague directions though... If you park so your car/lorry is facing the castle, follow the road in front of you to the left, and round the bend between the trees. There is a gate to the right of the cattle grid to go through, and then go round to the right to another gate. You'll be able to see the path to follow from there, but if you keep left that's your best bet to find the best trails and fields to ride through.

Just be careful as sometimes there are huge herds of cattle in the fields, and there are also sheep out to grass with llamas which you have to be a bit cautious of.

The metal gates have really strong springs in them though and they snap back quickly so you just have to make sure you keep hold of the gate as you go through it.

Enjoy though, it's fab going through the streams, and the last time we went there were a load of logs to jump!

Sounds fab except for the herds of cattle, sheep and llamas!! They are my horses enemy!! Might have to take the dogs first for a scout first!
