Hacking from Downe to Keston

Hi, I may start part loaning a horse in Downe (Downe Court stables), is it possible to hack from Downe to meet friends in Keston (gates green road)? I don't know the area that well! Feels like a stupid question as they're only 5 min drive away! Just don't know how busy the road is etc.

It would be possible but probably not very enjoyable on those roads! Just wear loads of hiviz to Christmas tree levels and if the horse is sensible it should be ok.

There is a bridle path that runs nearly all the way along Jackass Lane to where it meets Gates Green Road.
