Hacking help no.2!

Well, no more bucking fits since(touch wood!) but everytime i ask her to canter she pulls on the reins and does an extended/fast trot, it takes me about 5 minutes to get her into canter! but this is only out hacking, in the school she does not do this.
How can i get her to go straight into a STEADY canter? and not pull on reins? thanks.

What is the quality of trot like when you ask for canter? Make sure the trot is nice and steady, control the speed of the trot with your rising and seat. Also make sure you aren't leaning forwards when you ask for canter and maintain a even contact while giving so she can balance.

i get her into canter but takes alot of kicking i just want a smooth canter for once! she used to go straight into it, now she doesnt!

DON'T kick!
Slow the trot, don't allow it to become 'running', she will just become unbalanced and on the fore-hand, then put your shoulders back, sit down in the saddle, inside leg on the girth outside leg behind the girth (you can choose which is which if on a straight path out hacking) and push with your seat and outside leg.

I know with my boy I have to give the inside hand forward a little as I ask him with the outside leg and make sure I'm sitting straight not leaning forward or he is just wont do it..
