I know I have seen a few threads on here recently about finding hacking horses so thought I would join in and ask if any lovely HHO would know of something suitable please.

I am looking for a 15.2hh (weightcarrier) up to approx 16.2hh for hacking a few times a week, possibly to be used as a nanny to just backed youngsters at a later date (if horse can go round v small XC course that would be a bonus!). And also possibly to do ride and lead with small child on small pony! Needs to be sane and sensible on roads but not worried if doesnt like/problems with school work etc.

Older horses very welcome and those with problems considered. Experienced with dealing with in-hand issues (more so than riding!).

Would probably suit an older horse needing to slow down a bit but not yet ready for full retirement! I havent ridden regularly for a while so although competant rider I can get a tiny bit nervous with a new horse intitially.

I am looking for a long term loan, lwvtb, or fairly inexpensive which is why I am pretty flexible to all suggestions. Experienced home waiting!
