Hi, I am thinking about buying a house in Bobbingworth, Ongar that has two stables and land. I have looked online at the ordnance survey map and can only see footpaths and the odd bridlepath (not that close by). However, I notice that the area is quite horsey with a lot of horses at home, which makes me think there must be riding somewhere surely or maybe they just compete at nearby Norton Heath!
When viewing the house I asked the owners as they have a horse themselves but they didn't know as their horse is 32 and I get the impression he was hasn't been ridden since she had her children 18 years ago! All they could advise is that they do see horses being ridden down their lane (on the ordnance survey map there is a footpath at the end but nothing else).
Is there anyone out there that knows Bobbingworth or happens to live there and can advise me...I know it's a long shot but I'm hopeful!!
Such a big thing when moving house as that's my hacking forever probably!! lol
