Hi, there are now national trust permits for Bradenham woods, think circa £20 pa. would be worth calling Bradenham manor I think.

There's a few sponsored rides coming up too!

Hi Llanali,

And thank you for your reply! Will looking to that once I get us some form of transport!

Are the sponsored rides organised by a local riding club and if they are what club?

(If anyone wants to advice if it is better to go for trailer licence or get C licence, please help as Im getting all confused!)

I know this area very well. If you PM me and let me know where you are stabled, I can tell you the best places to ride directly from where you're stabled. Wooburn itself isn't great for riding, but things get much better once you're north of the M40/M40 towards Beaconsfield and on towards Penn. Common Wood, Penn, is permit only - permits are obtained through PABA www.pennareabridleways.org.uk. and there are plenty of other bridleways/permissive bridleways in the area too.

If you're looking to do Pleasure Rides - could I suggest you take a look at www.chilterndistanceriders.org.uk who run members only rides of 6 - 20 miles all across the Buckinghamshire area and surrounding counties.
