Hacking Jacket for bigger busts

I just went and tried a new hacking Jacket on and one size is a little too tight over the bust but fits nicely on my waist but the next size up is better over the bust but looks like a sack on the rest of me (which is why I need a new one). Any recommendations or are they easy to get altered? - although the bigger one looked huge on my shoulder too!

I was going suggest a Mears jacket too, mine is just a standard off the peg tweed & fits well

I have this trouble I'm a 28" waist but 36D bust . Find it so hard to find a nice fitted jacket

This is the story of my life( and the same with non horsey clothes). I would love to have a made to measure jacket one day. Currently I have a Tagg hacking jacket which fits surprisingly well in all the right places.Big enough over the boobs and small enough on the waist, it's almost flattering. Might be worth a look.

Thanks all im off to Olympia next week so will try what I can on. But I ride in a sports bra which changes the shape from my normal bra which I seem to be waring to try them on lol

Definitely wear your riding bra when you try the jackets on!

I am a 26 waist and 34EE so anything fitted is a total nightmare- I bought a jacket that fitted my boobs and wasn't hanging off my shoulders and then took it to a local lady who fits everyone's hunting jackets and she nipped the waist in for me for £20

It took me about 2 years to find the right jacket but it was worth is as jacket wasn't extortionate, looks M2M and I love it.

I'm a 32G and a UK size 8 to 10 everywhere else! my AJ tweed is actualy second hand and I love it to bits it fits beautifully!
