Please can anyone head me in the right direction to find a hacking jacket for my nearly 2 year old. The ones I have found tend to start at 3-4 years type size.

I know its daft to take her to a show but she is ultra keen & would spend all day everyday sitting on the pony if only I had time to stand there making sure she didnt wobble off.

We have easily & v cheaply sourced the rest of the kit to a do a tiny local show but the jacket is eluding us.

Not at all daft. At two mine was demanding 'mine ride there' when we went to watch friends kids at a local show. At that age, if you ring the secretary beforehand they don't usually mind no jacket on tiny tots. Our local shows always have one or two tinies without one, its not like they'll be placed in lr equitation at 2 & novelties are relaxed on dress anyway. I did get one when mine was 2&1/2 from eBay but very old & still immaculate from little wear. Did track a new version down but was £150 iirc from some tailoring place & would be cheaper to buy a normal one & get it adjusted.

Google hackers tack ... She sells 2nd hand childrens show gear. That's where I got my daughters hacking jacket from.

Thanks everyone. Nosey, that looks a fab site - I will contact them tomorrow, have a good month or so before show.

Thought we might have a go at Best Turned out as that involves the least amount of actual riding (or running for Mummy!!!) so want to try best to get the right kit.

Will also keep an eye on ebay.
