I'm moving to Lower Stocklands and know the land wont be enough, I'll get bored riding the same land everyday. What bridle paths or hacking routes are in that area? Roads arent a problem but dont wouldnt want all road would want some canter, length of ride isnt an issue

https://www.bing.com/maps , on the right hand side where it says 'Road' click on it and select 'Ordinance Survey' from the list. Then put the postcode of the livery yard into the search box :).

Are you allowed to ride on the disused railway line that runs near Stocklands? If yes then you have access to a lot more hacking as otherwise you'll be on very very busy main roads to get to any bridlepaths.

You'll have great access to the Garth Mountain from the yard. You will have to cross over the llantrisant road, but it's a large, safe junction. There's plenty of half decent hacking around there, and I'm sure a number of liveries will be able to show you where to go.

Don't think about actually riding the Llantrisant Rd. No.1 it's too fast and dangerous, No.2 There's no need.
