Hello...

Does anyone know any trainers/re schooling specialists that deal with the re training of hacking out???

My horse HATES hacking out alone (but is VERY good with traffic)! Strange combination, but any cars, farm plant passing him etc he is fine with, but a bend in a clear lane or something similar seems uncomprehendingly life threatening to him and so he just spins and tries to turn around and go home!
He is an 8yo 17.0hh ISH and hadn't done much until I bought him last year.
When I tried him (before buying) I hacked alone up the lane from the farm he was on, and he went fine (I think they had probably used some blue pipe methodology on him - which I dont agree with as he is such a sensitive horse) but as soon as I got him home (have since moved yards) he has always been bad to hack out alone, and it is pretty dangerous for both him and me!

I make him hack out and just ride him through the bad bits.... but due to the danger of doing so, and the fact that in a year it seems no better, I think he needs someone to help him through this (I haven't had this problem with a horse before)
I event him, so in terms of work and fitness, he doesnt NEED to hack out from that point of view, as he gets lots of work through training and competing...but I would like him to enjoy hacking out to relax from working and schooling.... and if I am ever to sell him, I dont think anyone would put up with how bad his behaviour currently is.... so reallu need some professional hep with this.... can anyone recommend anyone???????

Thanks!!
