Hacking/show jackets for teenage boys?

My 14yr old stepson is growing like crazy at the moment. We bought him a huge show jacket this time last year that drowned him, and its up to his elbows already! His dad is really tall, so he is going to grow even more, so I don't want to spend a fortune on a jacket until he stops growing (will probably give up at that point!!). Can anyone suggest a good value for money boys jacket, or somewhere that sells them. He has always had girls ones before, but now at his size they're too fitted at the waist of course!

Anyone else with tall lanky boys and not huge purses!

When my kids were competing & hadn't finished growing I would buy them a show jacket off ebay & then when they'd out grown them I'd put them back on ebay & get them another. To be honest the condition of the ones I bought were almost new as these jackets possibly only last a season before being out grown & the local shows are only on about 6-8 times a year so they don't get any wear.

Now as adults they can spend more, buy a really nice jacket & know it should last them for years.
