It never ceases to amaze me how something someone says about your horse can either make you feel rubbish or great!

Standing in Ty's stable last night, one of the liverys came over and mentioned how she was talking to her boss (showjumper) and saying what a gorgeous looking horse Ty was....ahhhhh

And then another girl piped up, 'Yes he's got a nice head'

I know he's got a bit of a pot belly but that's going to go honestly!!

Whats wrong with saying hes got a nice head????

Was Ty rugged up in his stable and she couldn't possibly have seen his body anyway.

If someone said my horse had a nice head I would take it as a compliment.

Can't remember the last time someone said something nice about Amy

Friends of YO commented on the 'sour chestnut in the end stable' on Sunday evening without realising she was mine

I told them she didn't like to be disturbed when she was eating - but they carried on leaning over the door anyway

'Mmmm nice sort, would have made a nice WHP in her day, will be intersting to see what pops out!!!'

Poor love bug, no one likes her except me........

Agghhhh******

Dont worry Amymay I am the same with my mare she is very scatty and a one person horse, doesnt really have any time for other people, Mum dad and hubby cant understand why I love her so much.

They all know the story and I do keep reminding hubby that she has been there a lot longer than him Ha!!!

My OH is always grumbling that people always remark my horse (Dun) looks really nice and they never notice her Welsh D.

Problem in France is that the Welshies are almost an unknown race, so horsey people there don't appreiciate their finer qualities !!

Actually HefnStar is worth FAR more then my common-or-garden no-papers Dun. We learnt that HS's full brother was recently sold for 70K Euros & is winning all the CSO compets in France !!!!!!!!!
Just goes to show - looks ain't everything.

No it was a friend so didn't take it the wrong way - people are always sayinig how amazing he looks now (will post before and after pics soon!)

He has got a lovely head and I'm very proud of him - even getting a nice neck now!!

Just funny as my mate always says things like that - when I first got him she said he was an upside down horse - which he was!
